As we walk along the paths in late summer, one plant often catches our eye: goldenrod.
It grows along roadsides, on slopes, at the edges of forests and fields. Often we hardly notice it, as it is so naturally present – and yet it shines with its golden clusters of flowers, like small suns along our way.

Goldenrod belongs to the Earth element. Deeply rooted in the soil, it is nourished by the earth – and yet it shoots upward, reaching for the sky, carried by a clear, upright Wood energy. In this combination lies its message: it brings movement and dynamism into Earth, which otherwise tends to remain in softness, caring and holding.
